The Accor Group, world leader in the hotel industry and present through more than 400 hotels in India, the Middle East, Africa and Turkey, is expanding its network following the signing of a double project: A Novotel hotel and the first African “Novotel-Living” – both located in Conakry, Republic of Guinea.
Ideally located in the Business Center of Conakry near the embassies, the ministries district and the presidential palace, the Novotel and the Novotel Living will thus offer easy access to the main arteries of the Guinean capital and to its main centers of interest.
Within the framework of this double project, Accor is joining forces with KAKANDE-IMMO: a real estate subsidiary of the GUICOPRES Group, whose Chairman and CEO is Mr. Kerfalla Camara, better known in his country under the name of KPC.
Founded in 1998, GUICOPRES very quickly became one of the country’s leading private companies in terms of turnover and jobs created, through its four main subsidiaries: Guicopres BTP, Kakande-Immo, Guico-Multiservices GMI (Société import / export and distribution) and Nalou-Transit (Transit company).
Kakande-Immo – already very dynamic in the real estate development market – is thus taking a new strategic direction with these two projects and the ambition to become in the near future a major player in hotel development in Guinea.

Novotel Living – one of Accor’s “long stay” brands – was developed to meet the needs of customers looking for long-term accommodation. Thus, customers looking for the comforts of home, while benefiting from the services of a quality hotel should be satisfied with the offer of the Novotel Living; while the Novotel Conakry will offer an additional hotel accommodation option for business and leisure trips to Conakry and Guinea more generally.

The Novotel-Living, with its 80 “keys” divided between studios of 35 m² and 2-room apartments of 75 m² will be the 1st apart-hotel in Conakry operated by an international hotel group.
