MEETING BETWEEN THE GUICOPRES GROUP AND THE MINISTER NAITE FOLLOWING THE PK63 (KISSIDOUGOU) -GUECKEDOU PROJECT

GUICOPRES.SA/ETEP: The project concerned is that of PK63 (Kissidougou) -Gueckedou: the installation works are 90% completed (base life, equipment and control mission). Civil engineering work on the concrete plant has been completed. Topographic studies are completed. Currently, the company has been on site since the start of the heavy rains to treat the quagmires. In this specific case, the Minister deplores the delay in the preparatory work and calls for the immediate implementation of a work execution plan on the site.

Speaking of the roads of Labé (15km), Pita (13km), Dalaba (12.6km), only owned by GUICOPRES.SA, the sites are evolving and the first asphalt has already been observed in Labé and Pita.
Most of the sanitation works have been completed. Stopped due to rains, all these sites will effectively restart on October 05, 2019.

In Conakry: In the case of T5, T6, T7, provisional receipts have been made. The reservations are being lifted. For T8, T9, T10 the work is globally estimated at 55%. At this level, work will resume no later than September 30, 2019.

As for Sonfonia-Kagbelen: so far, it is the earthworks and the application of gravel bitumen that have been carried out. The wearing course remains.

For the occasion, the Minister reiterates his commitment to see this work completed very quickly. He awaits the resumption of work as soon as possible with an execution schedule showing the start and end date of the work.

The only thing to remember is the desire of the head of the department to see quality work on this section which is only 8.9km long.
